Matt was such a cute little boy. I have heard rumors that he was a holy terror to have as a sibling, but you can't really believe little sisters, can you? My favorite story of Matt as a child was that when he was sent to his room for being naughty or long after being tucked into bed, he would send paper airplanes down to the family room begging for things such as a bowl of cereal or pardon from the punishment that sort of thing. It is a good thing he was so darn cute.
As you can tell from the big trophy he is holding he has ALWAYS been very competitive. Just ask anyone who has ever played a game with him (Eh, Vicky?) . We just recently played a game with some friends and the question was asked who would you want to have been a kid with and I totally would want to be a kid with Matt. I love to hear him talk about the games he thought up and the fun adventurous things he did. He had a fantastic imagination.
He was a great kid and he is a great man.

This was a great flashback! I'm looking at the pictures, and is funny, I think... Caleb looks like him, no, wait! Joey looks like him! A little bit of Ben and Cloe here and there, genetics are amazing!
Good thing he is competitive, because I'M SO NOT. (That's why I let him win when we play, I don't care, if I did care, you will be loosing BAD) =)

I thought I already posted a comment on this post but I guess I didn't save it. Anyway...I also thought the pictures were of Caleb, not Ben, I mean Joey. But then I realized you never would let your children dress that way.

OK! So I need to write this on your blog because it totally cracked me up. My Jocelyn is going to marry your little Ben. It was kind of a toss up between Ben and Jensen. But Ben won because they had so much fun running around the church at the blood drive. she said that he is the one that she is going to marry. Every time we pass your house, shes always saying, is Ben outside?! She talks about how she is going to marry him,and she told me that I should call "Ben's mom" and make sure that he knows that they are going to get married. Jed was like, isn't this supposed to happen when they are like 12? NOT 5?!? Well tonight she was talking about how when she and ben were going to get married if they could live with us, I told her sure. Jed said, but Jocelyn, boys are kind of gross, they spit, and get dirty, and they play real rough. She said, oh yeah...but Ben isn't like that! LOL. I am going to have to take a picture of them together one day and write down all these things. This is totally making me laugh!! Poor Jed is having a heart attack. Anyways, just wanted to let you know that we are destined to be in laws. Since I'm paying for the wedding, I think its only fair that they stay with you!!! LOL.
