Shake Rattle N Roll

Saturday was another ballroom dance compitition for Ben. This time was different though. His partner Haley was out because she had an emergency apendectomy last Saturday. She is doing much better, but she still has some recovering to do, so unfortunately, Ben would need to dance with a new partner. As if that were not enough, his partner was about two feet taller than him. She was such a good sport to be dancing with someone so much younger than her, and they both really made the most of it. He was a little nervous because he is so competitive (he gets that from his Father), and at the last compitition his team of four couples received gold ribbons, took first place and won a huge trophy. So, we went in to this compitition with the hopes that this would just add to his experience until Haley is recovered and they would continue to take the world by storm. But to his amazement when they were giving out ribbons his team received silver. We are so proud!!!!

Great Job Ben!! Even under pressure with a new partner you shine!

Where does he get the dance moves from Steph? Is that from you?

She was just a "bit" taller than him - so that does make it more challenging. Tell Ben I can relate! Dancing with "MyMatt" can give me a kink in the neck! Now wait - before you discard my comment knowing my husband like you do, and seeing his lack of actual "dancing" at dances. Let me just say, he has been known to dance - it has happened, I promise! ;o) Anyhow... yeah Ben!!

YAY!! Ben, Ballroom dancing is the BEST!! So fun that he's into it so young, GIRLS love it when a boy knows how to lead.

Has he seen the UVSC Ballroom Dancing? Or BYU?

GO BEN!!
