May The Fourth Be With You

So, today I had been planning on just keeping my Birthday in a small way, maybe just a little cake after dinner. The reason Why is that every year I make such a big deal out of my own Birthday and I wanted to be a little bit less narcissistic this year..... and its been so hard.

I love my Birthday!!

I know that the reason I love my Birthday so much is the fact that my mother made my Birthdays so special. Every year she she tells me about the morning I was born at Cottonwood Hospital, how the next morning the nurse wheeled in my mothers new baby girl and how the window was open and the smell of lilacs filled the spring air. I loved to hear that story every single Birthday of my life.

Also, She went all out for my Birthday party's. We did treasure hunts, sloppy Joe's, Fun games or movies whatever I wanted. I could invite as many people as I wanted and of course My favorite Cousins Teresa and Leanne always came making them even more special.

I have never had a bad Birthday I have always loved my Birthdays so much. But this year I thought I better tone it down because I always throw my self a big party and some people might view that as narcissistic. So I was kind of worried this might be the Birthday that was not going to be as great as all of the other 34 birthdays.

But that was not the case. At 7:15a.m. my doorbell rang (to the tune of happy birthday, that sounded a little like just someone ringing it 100 times, but I was informed it was to the tune of happy Birthday) I was so surprised to see Steph E. and Heather at my door in P.j. 's with a plate of Monkey Bread and they had decorated my front door and my car with Birthday fun.

Then at Lunchtime I was kidnapped by Bonnie and Cat who took me out to lunch at the Olive Garden ( Yummy). We laughed and Had a blast. They made my day so Fantastic.

Not to even mention the wonderful night we had at wicked on Saturday, and the yummy dinner at the California pizza Kitchen with my mom and Sister who got me such fantastic gifts, Way to generous. I love you guys!!

Also my doorbell kept ringing all evening with yummy treats and gifts from such sweet friends. I was thrilled with Brandon's yummy rice Krispies, Becky's yummy Oreo truffles and Francie gave me the traditional green kholers cake thing we have been passing around, with a yummy cake on it (Watch out Steph E. your Birthday is next you are getting the doiley) and Vickys yummy homeade cake, Wait a minute I am telling you right now I think some people are trying to fatten me up. But its okay its my Birthday, no diet today.
