My cousin JD passed away on Sunday and although we havent been very close as adults. I want to share some of my funnest memories of him from when we were children.

I remember My sister and cousin kasie and I went to JD's preschool after our school got out( I was in first grade and Kristy and kasie were in second grade) but they wouldent let us check him out, seeing as we were not much older than him. So we waited until it was outside time and then told him to climb the fence and we made a run for it. I cant remember if we got in trouble but I'm sure we did. I remember clearly thinking it was like breaking him out of jail. Also, Back in the good old days when you could go grocery shopping and leave your kids unattended, My mom went in to reams and left us in the car with the widows down and we got SO bored that we came up with this game that when someone would walk by the car we would shout out a rude name and hide. But after a while some really mean looking motorcycle guy parked at got off his bike and all of us girls just ducked and hid but JD yelled at the top of his lungs " HEY HONKEY!!" And ducked. We hid scared to death that he was going to come over and teach us a lesson but he did'ent so we had a good laugh about it.
I feel sorry that we grew so far apart as adults, I love him and I know he will be deeply missed in our family.

I'm sorry about your cousin. Family really is important and it's important to remember the people we love and I love your tribute.

I know I already told you I would, but I'll put it in writing here: I promise to come to your funeral and I'll bring as many people as I can with so the Stake Center isn't just full but overflowing.

I can't even believe you would think to break someone out of preschool, that's hilarious.

You mentioned this the other night, but it didn't click until I read his birthdate how young he was. I'm so sorry!

Glad you could remember such good times!
