This weekend I did a 5k in Logan with some good friends. We had so much fun staying up till almost 1:00a.m. Laughing till my sides hurt and then also meeting our goal to do the 5k. I was so excited to do another 5k this one was my second one, and that feeling of accomplishment you get is so wonderful. I had just had surgery on July 22nd and I had not run much at all since the surgery and about three fourths of the way into the race I was hurting so bad and I realized that I was not breathing in enough because when I took deep breaths the scars on my sides hurt so much, so I thought for sure I was going to pass out from lack of oxygen. So I turned around to find a familiar face so that if I did go down someone who cared about me would be there not just some random runners. I was so glad to see my good friend Debbie, Thanks Debbie for being there for me. I felt like a dork, But it made me really think about how much I love the people in my life. So, for all of you blog readers I love you!!

I am glad nothing serious happened! Your scars were totally bulging! So that was a fun trip. Seriously. I was a little worried, you know, cause you guys are all so close and FUNNY, but I think I hung in there, right?!

Becky I am glad you came to. It was nice to have someone there who hadn't heard all of my stories like a million times. Also you are SO funny, I love it!!
I am so, so, so impressed that this is your second 5K. You are awesome!!! I seriously admire people who run by choice, SO MUCH!! I really do. I wish I could do it.

I am so glad your insides didn't fall out too. I think it was a perfect weekend- the weather was cool and just right for running, the fall colors were fantastic, the company was HILARIOUS... let's do it again!
